House two on this stunning 100 acre property flat land framed by stunning mountains in the background. The brief we were given by our clients was to design a home suitable for Sunshine Coast living inspired by alpine shed living. To get this effect, we used cladding that is made from roofing material. The bonus was this was a cost effective construction which had a really strong visual impact. Internally the high set pitched roof ceilings made way for exposed rafters to sit proud and become a beautiful feature. Our clients were inspired by minimalist Japanese inspired finishes which were offset by a light grind polished concrete burnished floor finish.
